Maple Dalgona Coffee

This is a whipped coffee drink originated from Korea that has been taking the Internet by storm. We will give it a healthy twist by substituting sugar for maple syrup and using hot soya milk instead of water.

  • 2 tbsp ~8gr dissolvable coffee (unsweetened instant coffee)
  • 1 ½ - 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp 40-45ml hot soya milk
  • 240 ml milk of choice. I like using almond milk here for its nuttiness and thin texture
  • Optional Grass jelly OR boba pearl
  1. Mix coffee, syrup and hot milk until everything is dissolved
  2. Whip for 3-7 minutes, depending on equipment used, until reaching a soft and smooth peak.
  3. It should be stiff enough to hold shape
  4. Froth 240ml milk until foamy
  5. Divide into 2 glasses and add the whipped coffee mixture on top
